{"id":1272,"date":"2017-01-31T17:34:48","date_gmt":"2017-01-31T17:34:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lederval.es\/?p=1069"},"modified":"2018-08-02T16:50:29","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T16:50:29","slug":"development-of-a-new-coating-for-textiles-and-skins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inpelsa.es\/en\/development-of-a-new-coating-for-textiles-and-skins\/","title":{"rendered":"DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW COATING FOR TEXTILES AND SKINS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:es--><\/p>\n<p>During 2015 and 2016, INPELSA carried out the project &#8220;DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW COATING FOR TEXTILES AND SKINS&#8221;, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Operational Program for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020, with the aim of boosting research, technological development and innovation.<!--:--><!--more--><!--:es--><\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the project has been the revaluation of the byproducts generated in the company. In particular, a textile and \/ or leather finish has been developed based on the skin cuts generated during the tanning process.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective has been carried out together with other complementary actions. Thus, a more sustainable production process has been proposed for the tanning industry, introducing changes in the production process capable of reducing environmental costs, and offering a more natural material.
